As Manufacturing Engineer within Inalfa you are in the driver?s seat for developing or improving new designs for equipment and fixtures to assemble automotive sunroof modules and roof systems. You will be tasked with ensuring that the manufacturing process conforms to all Inalfa Roof Systems specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.?? Other duties may be assigned.Support all engineering change activities impacting the manufacturing process.Perform line balancing and labor evaluation activitiesSupport all QS 9000 requirementsEnsure all manufacturing documentation is accurate and up to dateChampion manufacturing cost reduction activities, including labor reduction initiativesInform quality engineering of any suspect of out of specification componentsAssist maintenance in set-up and improvement upon preventative maintenance plansPerform basic ergonomic analysis as requiredHelp insure that all employees enjoy the safest possible working environmentSupport the improved efficiency of the manufacturing facilitySupport the improved first time capability of the manufacturing processAssist DOE projects as necessaryOversee PER builds through the manufacturing processOversee DFM/DFA analysisSupport all CIP activitiesAssist Kaizen activities as appropriateReduce WIPMaintain one piece flowVisual managementetc.Apply Theory of Constraints through all plant wide activities SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES ?
